Chivalry in Action

AOK PROGRAM ~ PROMOTING ACTS OF KINDNESS

The AOK Program is an intergenerational after-school Program involving Middle-school students as primary Participants, High-school students as Facilitators, and Senior-Citizens as Mentors, passing on their wisdom and thie life's lessions to the younger generation.   The AOK Program focuses on four major areas: 

Anger Management
Conflict Resolution
Grade Improvement
Becoming Emissaries of Kindness in our schools and in the community


10 Commitments:  Promoting Acts of Kindness begins by having each participant determine what they believe is their personal rules for living life.  For this program, the young people's rules for life will be called their 10 Committments, a list of attributes and behaviors selected by the participant and based upon the 10 letters in the word CHIVALROUS.
